The Sofar ESI 5K-S1-A is a 5 kW single-phase hybrid inverter (solar + battery + grid) with dual MPPT inputs, designed for residential rooftop PV + battery + backup installations. Hybrid Solar + Battery + Grid Integration — The inverter supports PV input and high-voltage battery modules (e.g. 400 V battery strings) to enable solar + storage + grid coupling. This allows for self-consumption, time-shifted power usage, and backup supply during grid outages.
Dual MPPT for Flexible PV Layout & Better Yield — With 2 independent MPPT trackers, the system can accept two separate PV strings — helpful when panels are placed on different roof orientations or when shading and layout vary.
