The Sungrow SH25T is a 25 kW, three-phase hybrid inverter designed to work with solar PV, battery storage and the grid — offering full backup capability, high flexibility in PV and battery configurations, and weather-resistant build. It supports hybrid / storage / grid-tie / backup modes in one unit.
Hybrid + Battery + Full-Home Backup: SH25T supports connection to Li-ion (or compatible) batteries to provide stored solar energy when needed. It includes a built-in 63 A bypass contactor to deliver “whole-home backup” in case of grid failure. The switch to backup happens seamlessly in ~ 10 ms.
3 Independent MPPTs — Flexible PV Layout: The inverter offers 3 MPPT trackers, enabling you to connect multiple PV strings — useful if your solar panels are spread over different roof orientations/tilts, or partial shading zones.
High PV Input Capacity & Wide Compatibility: SH25T supports large PV arrays (DC), allowing oversizing relative to its 25 kW AC output, which helps maximize solar yield. It’s compatible with high-voltage PV strings and modern high-wattage modules.
Robust Protection, Safety & Outdoor-Ready Build: With IP65 / C5 protection rating, the inverter is weatherproof and well-suited for rooftop or outdoor installation, even in harsh climates. It supports AC + DC overvoltage protection, surge protection, and includes safety features like AFCI, reverse polarity protection, etc.
