The Growatt MOD 5000TL3-XH is a 3-phase, 5 kW solar inverter designed for grid-tie PV systems, with “battery-ready / hybrid-ready” capability — meaning it can function as a standard grid-tie inverter now, but can be expanded for battery storage + self-consumption/backup later. It supports dual-MPPT for flexible PV string layout, has a wide DC input voltage range (up to 1100 V), and comes with outdoor-ready protection (IP66), making it suitable for rooftop or outdoor installations.

Hybrid-Ready & Future-Proof — The inverter is designed to work with battery storage; you can start with solar-to-grid now and upgrade later to solar + storage / backup using compatible batteries (e.g. Growatt’s APX/ARK series).

Dual MPPT for Flexible PV Layout — Two independent MPPT trackers allow connecting two separate solar strings (e.g. different roof orientations or tilts), optimizing energy harvest even under partial shading or varied panel arrangements.

High Efficiency & Good Energy Yield — Maximum conversion efficiency ~ 98.3 – 98.6% ensures minimal losses when converting DC from panels to AC for grid/consumption.

Wide DC Input & High PV-Array Compatibility — Accepts DC input up to 1100 V, and supports PV arrays up to ~10,000 Wₚ (10 kWp) — giving flexibility to use high-voltage or large panel arrays, or to oversize PV for better yield.
