4 MPPT Trackers for Maximum Flexibility: The inverter includes 4 independent MPPT inputs, allowing you to connect up to four separate PV strings (e.g., different roof orientations or tilts), which helps in optimizing energy harvest under shading or varied sun exposure conditions.
High PV-Input Capacity & Oversizing Support: Supports up to ~ 16 kWp PV array (DC) for the 8 kW model — enabling oversizing of the PV array for better energy yield, while still delivering 8 kW AC output. Also supports a low PV start-up voltage (~ 50 V), which helps in capturing energy early in the morning or under low light conditions.
Hybrid + Battery + Backup (EPS) Functionality: The X1-VAST-8K is hybrid-ready: you can connect batteries, and it supports EPS (Emergency Power Supply) / backup operation. In case of grid outage, it can supply loads from battery + PV with fast switchover (UPS-like response) and even support up to 200% overload for short durations (for heavy loads).
