Growatt 5kWh HV APX Battery (APX 5.0P-B1)
The Growatt APX 5.0P-B1 is a 5 kWh high-voltage (HV) lithium-iron-phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery module — forming the base unit of Growatt’s APX HV battery series. It is designed for integration with compatible hybrid/ storage-ready inverters (especially in three-phase or larger solar + storage systems), offering modular scalability, stackable design, and safe, efficient energy storage for home or small-commercial solar installations.

Modular & Scalable Storage Design: APX 5.0P-B1 is modular and stackable — one can start with a single 5 kWh module and expand by adding up to 6 modules in one tower to reach a total of up to 30 kWh storage capacity.
Safe, Long-Life LiFePO₄ Chemistry with Multi-Level Protection: Uses cobalt-free LiFePO₄ cells, and includes a four-level safety scheme: built-in Battery Management System (BMS), per-module energy optimizer, fuse protection, and aerosol/fire-suppression mechanisms — ensuring stable, safe operation even under heavy usage.
Flexible & Future-Proof System — Mix Modules & Easy Upgrade: The design allows mixing battery modules of different health (SOC / SOH), even from different production batches. This means you can upgrade or expand storage over time, without needing to replace the whole battery bank.
High-Voltage Operation & Efficient Integration with HV Inverters: Nominal voltage of module ≈ 385 V, operating range ~ 330–450 V; in a stacked HV configuration (series), the battery system supports high system-voltages — suitable for HV hybrid inverters, ensuring efficient DC-AC conversion and reduced current losses.
